Please stop using doesn’t fit Moyes system because we all know his system doesn’t work. Perhaps he should adapt to accommodate the strengths of the players he has available to him and stop ruining their careers by constricting their ability to play to their potential or not playing them at all and then the team’s results may improve.

After it was 18 months to find a striker, and Moyes announced he had found what he wanted, then it definitely WAS Moyes who chose him. David and Solanke are unlikely newcomers given Moyes departure some time soon or at the most 1 year. WH MUST spend good money for a goal scorer. Alvarez will give adequate cover as Rice replacement, and should Southampton relent Ward Prowse would not be a waste, but a good service provider, with experience.

Scamacca got what 8 goals in all comps if he wasn't injured amd replicated that same form in the second half of the season he wood of got 16 goals but only what 6 in the league…wood he of been a success???

Solanke’s a stop gap. Everything you said about him is true. And he wouldn’t break the bank. We could stick Soucek up at striker and he’d inadvertently score 6 just by being in the way. It inspiring stuff. Jonathan David is excellent, but we would destroy his career. We need, and he needs for us to steer clear. I like the Fullkrug rumor though. Yes, he’s 30 but he’s cheap and he’s the model Moyes striker.

I never heard of him until the weekend his name is Elyse Wahi his stats are phenomenal 22/24 season he bagged 20 goals in 38 apparently we was linked to him I would t be sad to see him. Not sure how you can say based on one season a player is a failure, in particular when he has had a pretty severe I jury as well. Shows how fickle we've become. He should have been given more time but we're in an era now everyone wants instant success.
