  1. “John’s had a relatively quiet afternoon”

Same as everybody else. Absent for 18 months and sat in silence on our return. Best fans in the world though right?

  2. The one thing we need to improve upon this season is first touch. Whether it's taking a touch from a straight pass, or delivery from across the pitch and also another form of first touch, a volley, around or inside the box when in a scoring position. The first touch has to be a shot, but I noticed last season that hell of a lot of the time players were fearful of hitting one on the volley. Too often they would take a touch 1st, sometimes more than one before taking a shot and by that time the space had been closed down. Its as if they have no confidence in just hitting one first time or else they have been told to always take a touch. There were a couple of exceptions such as defoes sensational one against Livingston & Jack's cracker at the tail end of last season, I cant remember who again, think it was killie. If our first touch improves then we will be formidable for anyone in the league & will improve our chances in Europe. That and taking shots on goal generally from around the edge & outside of the box, particularly from the midfielders Davis & kamara especially. The amount of times kamara gets into great positions with space to shot and he hesitates or decides to pass instead. Or even running beyond & making space for himself on a one two, he definitely has that capability within his game but seems to shy away from it. If he adds that to his game he will be an all round midfielder that will be wanted by some if the best teams in Europe or a top 6 premiership club. I know he is being looked at just now by them but if he can add the goals to his game they will offer silly money for him as its the only thing he lacks.

  3. Gutted I never got to watch any of the game today due to my own football game but absolutely delighted that the lads got off to a flying start, buzzing for the fans allowed back players must of had some buzz of off that. Go again Tuesday WATP 🔴⚪️🔵
