If Leon wants a starting position, why would he come to Manchester United. We already have essentially three guaranteed starters in midfield in Mount Casemiro in Bruno.

With that midfield depth ETH can play with 2 up top for the big games (city, Liverpool, Arsnel & big champions league games) where we need to win the midfield battle- Rashy and Hojlund up top with Garnacho, Anthony, and Sancho as back up.
I'd prefer Amrabat if they both cost around 30M. I think Goretzka offers a bit more higher up the pitch than Amrabat. At least in terms of goal scoring. But I think Amrabat's defensive skills are way better than what fbref and similar stats sites would indicate.
We all know that Agbonlahor is as thick as the proverbial two short planks. He’s a wind up merchant and really not worth getting upset about tbh
I have no issues with Jonny Evans as 4:th or 5:th choice CB. If there is a long term injury to someone, I assume Shaw would step up as 2:nd or 3:rd choice (not counting the injured player). So if Maguire goes it could mean there is a spot in the squad for Fernandez. Also Dalot can play on the left, so it wouldn't be a desaster having Shaw as a CB for a while if needed. If we just need someone to jump in in the 80:th minute every now and again so Varane isn't ran into the ground, I think Evans will be fine. So I don't think we need to scramble to get a replacement this window, now that we've got a bit of a backup plan in Evans, just in case.

Mctominay was very inconsistent last season, he also lost his place in starting 11
