      Not gonna claim to know anything about this guy, but if Klopp and Ward think heโ€™s good enough, spend the money. Donโ€™t even think too much about it, we need more midfielders, whether Klopp says publicly they donโ€™t or not.

      Strong, physical, tall, technical, a progressive left sided CM… Why are we stallin'? Sure he ain't Thiago, but Thiago is a luxury player you keep for the big games like CL and against the big six. He's an upgrade over Naby all day any day. Damn I hate to see us not get him. He's made to play in the PL. Don't wanna see him go to the mancs or any other big PL team besides us. Damn it FSG! Get this guy already!

      He seems two footed too, prolly could play on either side of the DM (Fab). So he's perfect then, cuz he solves our midfield problem. Imagine Thiago – Fabinho – Nunes , smh FSG!

      From a Portuguese this guy is a very talented and powerful engine heโ€™s a very useful player that will create chances from either a breakthrough pass or a breakthrough dribbling run his physicality and technique are both sublime and heโ€™s a player that plays smart even when he takes breakthrough passes or runs. Possesses every quality a box to box midfielder should have.

      Well balanced on both feet, his very fast, he can tackle and not afraid to put his body on the line, his like a South American Steven G,
      very direct, he play with force and drive and can also chip in with goals from midfield.. I actually like This sighing for LFC more than the very expensive Bellingham sighing.. I would love to Welcome him to klops Next Generation of Technically gifted Mentality Monsters. LFC.

      Matheus would be a massive upgrade to both Henderson and Keita. Fabinho holding, Thiago passing, Matheus carrying, perfect combo. I can see him destroying left (defensive) flanks with Trent and Salah, or right flanks with Robertson and Diaz.
      Still, let him stay where he is at least until the end of this season. He's still growing and next season he will be even better. And, of course, a bit more expensive. Just watch out for City, if they end up selling Bernardo, Cuardiola will not lose a second to bring Matheus in.

      In my opinion he is the midfielder any club who wants to win trophies would go for. As for Liverpool I think they should go for both Mathues Nunes and Luka Sucic and get naby and ox out to do 1 better than previous campaign. They both are exactly the likes of players Madrid signed in Valverde and Dortmund signed Bellingham. Liverpool should hire Nunes and Sucic before any other big European club signs them.

      Am I missing something with this guy? 8 goals and 5 assists in 88 games played doesn't seem like a diamond. Is he just a defensive minded guy?
