Saudi league is really shaking up the football world. Ronaldo, Benzema, Kante, Mendy, Firmino, Ruben Neves, Milinkovic-Savic, Koulibaly, Ziyech, etc. They're really raiding the European market atm.
I guess at a certain point the money becomes too good to turn down. Can't really blame the players for taking this once in a lifetime opportunity to earn such wages and set their families up for the future.
On the bright side Lazio got the maximum value out of the deal on SMS. I'm gutted to see him go but at the same time he stayed longer than anyone expected. Other than that I've liked some of the names we've been linked with this summer like Bernardi, Zielinski, Torreira, Zaha, Orsolini and Marcos Leonardo. But it is worrying that we haven't got any deals over the line yet. Apparently we were priced out of the Berardi deal and Zielinski now has offers from the Saudi league we can't compete with. There are also rumors of Immobile and Marusic leaving to Arabia as well. Going to be interesting to see how the team takes shape over the summer. Hopefully we make some quality signings that bring some excitement for the fans.
Can’t wait for the season to start. I believe we will sign players but I have no idea who. All I know is reinforcements are needed. 🦅🦅🦅
Since the failure of the Super League, the Arabi league is invented to give the european clubs a financial boost and on the same time stop the arabs to get into buying european clubs. It is a win-win situation for everyone. Lazio is getting richer without selling their best players to rivals, savic is getting richer and the arabs just both themselves one more football toy
If i was Sarri, i would look for reinforcement in Torino's team. Juric is hard on his players
