Aymeric Laporte had a superb season for City – that is without question.

Our Spain international was the glue that held the defence together throughout the campaign, and particularly in the tense season run-in when our back line was decimated by injuries.

Laporte was amazing when he was needed most, and despite taking two heavy knocks against Wolves and West Ham, he somehow soldiered on and gave his all to help his team get over the line.

City fans know what a crucial role he played in winning the title.
