  1. It’s a pity he didn’t get his move to Barcelona, that’s probably caused him a lot of anguish last season and this season, but I’ve always felt maybe his next move could be the one that would send him to a big club, then who knows he might go to Barcelona or Juventus or or PSG.a great servant to the club wish him all the best

  2. Bless ya Ruben , thank you for giving an old fart some of the best memories and times I've had in the last 40 odd years as a wolves fan , good luck mate

  3. šŸŽ‰watched his video no bullshit spoke from the heart loved the club loved the town, just a fantastic player and person, wish you and your family all the very best for the future, come back some day to a standing ovation, what a player and some memorable goals.

  4. Wow what an Open Letter video from Ruben! Had me in bits! He loved our club so much and we loved him so much – what a man, what a player. Our modern day goat… always a wolf! X

  5. The king as left the building ladies and gentlemen for chapter in his football career big thank you RĆŗben Neves brillant 6 years at Wolves i am going miss him playing for us but he'll when he hangs up his football boots foe good so look him in South bank cause he Wolves himself fan 4 life now thats good news all this. #thankyouRubenNeves

  6. As with all other comments before……Ruben you will be a legend to this club and no matter where your skills take you in the future YOU WILL ALWAYS be a wolf. Thank you for your time …skills …but most important for being a true gentleman. You have worn the shirt with pride and you have done yourself your family and country very very proud.

  7. I can hear the emotion in your voice Dave. Same here. If you don’t get emotional watching the video then you have no heart. I read the transcript first and that was emotional but the video just shows how much it meant to him. There are many bringing up the fact that he’ll be getting Ā£500,000 a week (tax free, so a lot more in reality), but that is irrelevant really. I challenge anyone to turn that type of money down, and you are telling lies if you say you would. Just been a pleasure to have been able to watch him and Moutinho in the last few years.
Let’s hope this is not the beginning of the end and that we can turn round the slump in the last couple of years. Fortunately we still have all the footage of his greatest moments. Always Wolves…..

  8. Ruben is up there with Kenny for me. He will be in legendary status with this club. He is a superb player, and although he is going to this insidious country, I wish him all the best, and I would take the white wash money if I was him

  9. The NUNO ERA HAS GONE, it’s freaking sad, what the hell is wrong with this club, our brief foray in euro was beautiful, thank you Ruben neves for making us dream, but that’s all it will ever be, the whole mindset needs to change. It’s sad, thank you for you’re coverage go wolves for the past few years,

  10. Ruben Neves is up there with the best midfielders we've ever had at this club since I960 when I began supporting Wolves, he was Mr Consistent in the 6 years spent at our club, a fantastic and humble person. Best Wishes Ruben and thanks for the memories. UTW

  11. Ruben is the reason I got excited to go to Molineux again… when he joined Wolves I was living in Tennessee…. Not saying I came home for him, but honestly the first thing I wanted to do when I got home was watch Neves play in the old gold… he will be sorely missed, but however upset I am with him for making a money move over a competitive one, I will always love and consider him a wolf.

  12. Hi dave, what a legend mate he was a great captain goes down in Wolverhampton history one of the best ever, wish him all the best with his future he deserves it šŸŽ‰sad but we have to move on dave, that's me mate, always wolves šŸŗšŸŗšŸ’ššŸ‘ˆšŸ‘Š

  13. Very sad. But what a great player for my Team. Wish him all the best. You never know with football. Cling onto the thought that one day he could come back, grasping at straws yes maybe, but if something/someone is worth holding onto then you have to keep the thought. Thank you Ruben it’s been a pleasure and thank you for all of the memories. All the bes5.

  14. No doubt one of tha best ever servants an talents WWFC has bin blessed to call one of our own…go well Nevez..an thx fer not joining Man U or Arsenal(!)

  15. THIS ladies and gents is a proper club legend…not like some other person who couldn't even bother to show his face at the end.
Wish you every bit of luck in your career Ruben and all the happiness you and your family deserve.

    Thank you….Thank you.
