It's sad that such a great player like CR7 has such a disappointing national team career (from an individual point of view). He needs an absolutely world-class team around him, which is well attuned and can offer him the perfect service, bcs only then he can produce elite numbers. I wish he would have delivered on the biggest stage in the sport (world cup knockouts), but unfortunately he never delivered there when his team needed him in the big games

He's not a player like Messi who can carry a team much better. Despite this, CR7 deserves a lot of respect, is one of the best players of all time and the 2nd best player of his generation, which is also a great achievement!
