I think if we’d actually bought at least one high que skirt defender Kane would’ve been tempted to stay – but fact still haven’t signed he’s prob think irrelevant how much he gets in a new deal will be same old same old whereas if got defenders he could see chance of winning stuff with us

Levy just needs to realize that he is a terrible evaluator of CBs. Spend the £80M on Tapsoba and Van de Ven, recoup whatever we can by selling Sanchez, Rodon, Tanganga, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, and Davies, probably ~£65M and call it.
The way Levy does business is asinine and ALWAYS works against him.

I know nothing about Benjamin Pavard but if you rate him then that's good enough for me. The frustration over the VDV and Tapsoba deals is just ridiculous now. Starting to get worried about next season because we haven't strengthened the squad enough. Lovely canal walk!

Doubtful. I can't see Pavard moving to Tottenham where he can win nothing and not playing in europe. I mean would be a great deal for both clubs, because Pavard is for sale, but i think the player wouldn't go there.
The transfer situation sounds fishy to me. At Celtic there was no news about the players AP bought before they arrived. Also AP chose the players. AP keeps his cards close to his chest. So has the Spurs transfer news of the last weeks been red herrings? Has the Kane deal been done, one way or another? And there hasn't been any interest in departures, at least not in the public eye. So I reckon that anything could happen. Celtic has brought in some reinforcements, so maybe Kyogo or Oh are heading south. AP's game plan is built around poachers. And as defenders are critical, one might think getting them sorted is top priority and needs to be expedited.
