I actually think England play better without him. Play a false Number 9 and just pack the midfield. Play another one of our attacking midfielders. We can beat anyone playing like this. Sorry, but I just don't fancy Callum Wilson getting the goals the deeper we go into the tournament and the better the opposition.
They should just rest Kane for Fridays game and play Callum Wilson regardless if heβs injured or not
No other player in the squad with his world class hold up play and great playmaking attributes to knit the England attack together
Play Wilson and if needed a false 9 would be fine against the USA and Wales. Get him back fully fit for the knock out stage

I agree with Andros, it doesn't sound good. If he asked for a scan 24 hours after the game, then it means that he's still in pain. Could be out for the rest of the world cup.
Rashford can replace Kane through the middle
Making something out of nothing. Heβll magically be fine, heβs been very lucky and avoided injuries recently so he might miss one game max but England have plenty of threat to survive one game
He can rest his ankle as much as he wants when he next kneels down , and maybe he could stay in that position.

Donβt know why but can see Southgate really testing his team this tournament. Everyone expects the 3/5 at the back but wouldnβt surprise me if he knew he wasnβt keeping his job so really put some totally different teams out.
