  1. Eden Hazard flopping at Real Madrid comes as a surprise to many, and I get that because of where he was in European football when he was in his peak, but the reality is given his poor desire and work ethic, he was never set up for success. Unfortunately after his first day of training it was obvious that he was gonna have some 4 long difficult years at Real Madrid, because the moment he showed up overweight out of shape not fit to Real Madrid, it wasn't a good look for him because he was always a step behind his fitness, always played catch up, he suffered lots of injuries it was repetitive it was never going away all the injuries he picked up there, and when he was fit, he could not regain his old level and what didn't help was Vinicius Junior was scoring goals and playing well and now that he has become the player he is today, Eden Hazard became an afterthought a forgotten about player and was comfortable on the bench, picking up his big wages without having to kick a ball and in 4 years at Real Madrid he never played a single minute against Barcelona in El Classico the biggest game in Spanish football. He spent 7 years in the premier league at Chelsea where he was targeted by opposition consistently always getting fouled dealing with lots of contact and that is a valid point, a lot of top players deal with that as well rough treatment, there's more to why he wasn't a success at Real Madrid and some of it is down to the player himself not taking care of his body and lacking professionalism.

Arriving to a club like Real Madrid overweight put him on the wrong path and he was never set up to succeed at Real Madrid when he was never fit to begin with and it led to so much criticism. We've heard interviews from former teammates saying that "he was lazy, he never trained well, didn't like training one of the worst trainers ever", despite all of that he was able to produce on the weekend and was always ready during matchday. Even at Chelsea, Eden Hazard himself was a poor trainer and didn't put enough effort in training and when he was younger, he was ok with that because he had that natural talent and it was clear that he relied purely on his talent rather than hard work.

Eventually in the long run, it finally caught up with him at Real Madrid, this was gonna catch up with him sooner or later, because when you don't work hard condition well, you'll struggle to perform in your late 30s since earlier in your career, you didn't work hard enough, you lacked the professionalism and those little things are why it didn't work out for him at Real Madrid when his former teammates at Chelsea are saying all of this stuff about him and observed that he focused more on talent but wasn't professional enough and on a club like Real Madrid it's unacceptable to have players who don't meet the conditions of a professional player. It also plays a part as to why he was unable to rediscover his form because after all those injuries happened and he continued to get hurt, it was clear that he could no longer be the player he used to be. I'm a big Eden Hazard fan, and your career cannot be based off of one bad transfer, but overall he didn't reach his full potential because you can have all the talent in the world but when you don't work hard and put in enough effort, there's always a ceiling and limit to how far you can go as a player and he didn't push himself to the next level at Real Madrid, he got his dream move with big money and not only was he out of shape, he wasn't bothered by sitting on the bench since he was getting a buck-load of cash anyways he's the worst transfer ever in football history and right now he's closer to retiring than finding another club and he's only 32 years old.πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ
