If he wasn’t English this man wouldn’t show nearly as much sympathy
When Maguire was Captain and starting for United – "fridge", "too slow" blah blah.
When Maguire has lost his starting place and stripped off the captaincy – "he's a fantastic Centre Half".
He isnt high quality. He is English.
He is rubbish in our system (high line) when he is playing the whole team walks on eggshells and so do the fans.
If he is soo good, then buy him instead of Gvardiol.
His take on Maguire is like this, and his take on Mudryk shows no sympathy to a young foreigner who didnt ask for that pricetag and although wanted to go to Arsenal, didnt have a choice in the matter of going to Chelsea

Fantastic CB? What have these guys been watching for the past 2 seasons? If this opinion is based on his small sample size in international football, it’s just a bad take. Would you have him at City then? Exactly.
Maguire doesnt do basic things correctly, look at any top centre back in the world, their head never stops moving, constantly looking at the positioning of teammates and the opposition. Scanning is drilled into every single player from an incredibly young age and if you cant get the basics right then you are not a quality player. Couple that with his lack of pace, it means he will never cut it at a team that doesn't park the bus.
The sooner he leaves United the fucking better!
