Lots of USMNT players had great performances this weekend, both in Europe and in MLS and we’ll be talking about some of them on this live stream. Some names like Tim Weah, Chris Richards and Joe Scally obviously impressed, but who else is making an impression before Gregg Berhalter drops his October World Cup Qualifying roster?

Come say hi!

  1. It’s only because Pefok scored the winner in that Man U game. Ridiculous as A. It was a gimme and B. It’s one damn goal.
But it was in a big game against the worlds biggest team and it happened recently… Most people are that simple and surface level…

  2. It comes back to this… They didn’t even interview Jesse Marsh because of his, “lack of experience.” Plenty of coaches were interested in the job. We didn’t even return phone calls in a lot of cases… literally. GGG was always going to get the job. They didn’t even look for anyone else. Classic nepotism. You can say his brother “wasn’t involved in the hiring process.” (Bullshit) His brother is the number two guy at the USMNT and he personally hired the guy who hired GGG. Being someone brother is not a good enough reason to be hired for anything…

  3. Gregg’s tinkering and stubbornness that you spoke about is a product of his general inability or unwillingness to adapt on the fly. When he has time, he clearly thinks about possible better ways to perform. But when that doesn’t work to plan, he really doesn’t know what to do or doesn’t want to accept that it won’t work until it is all too obvious or too late. Not a good trait for any leader or person in charge and leads to mediocrity.

  4. No mention of how poor Brooks was against Hoffenheim. In all 3 goals his decision making was not good(not saying they were all his fault) If you haven't seen it watch the clips. It's now 3 or 4 very poor games in a row.

  5. I watched the DC v Cincy game over the weekend and was overall pleased with the result. I payed close attention to Donovan Pines since he looked so shaky during the Gold Cup. He certainly looked very nervous and unprepared playing for the national team. But watching him play Saturday confirmed what I thought about him. He's actually quite a good one-on-one defender with great length and surprising make-up speed. He's not great with his feet for sure, especially in compressed time and space, but in MLS play he's decent. We'll see if he's ever called up again. I think he's good enough to be a backup on a B or C team…

  6. Matt Turner made NANI look like an absolute joke with his PK save. 3 saves out of 3 against Nani. 2 out of 3 this years in the league. 2 out of 3 this year with the national team. Huge saves in the all star game to get the win over Mexico.

  7. Two reasons (both a conspiracy oriented) why Gregg brings a small roster to camps:
    (1) bringing more players means irritating more clubs by asking/requiring them to release players who may not be used, and
    (2) adding more players means more expense.

It may be that Gregg is pressured to adhere to a bottom line and to not unduly impact various clubs.

  8. I just wanted to say thank you for all this work you put into this channel I looked forward to your videos every day and I’ve been sick for the past few weeks and ur videos have really helped out
