Nottingham Forest’s #nffc Goalkeeper hunt seems never ending! As another day comes, yet another goalkeeper is linked to Forest, this time it is Jose Sa of #wolves. Wolves are willing to let the Portuguese stopper leave but would need a replacement in before they sanction the deal.

Jose sa is a great keeper but I can’t see how it makes sense for him. Why move from a club where you’re settled have have loads of teammates from your country to us who have no other Portuguese players and a higher probability of relegation

I think Sa would be a replacement for Hendo rather than as well as and at a reported 7 million decent business but for me Deano is 1st choice

I like Hovarth and was amazed Luton didn't want him for me he's an ideal No 2 so go for the best possible No1 Hendo must be favourite… COYR
GK is the only position where you have an obvious no 1. Sa isn't going to come to Forest as a no 2 surely? FWIW he had a BAD (as in bad!) season last year and the thought of him as first choice isn't great. Again, Navas would be weird as a no 2. Even if low fee his wages are crazy and doubt he'd be ok on bench. Feel like Hendo + someone like Matheus is a more likely combo.
No 2 = older GK that can coach a more talented, younger no1 and fill in emergencies or younger gk trying to improve to a point they can take the no1 jersey. Anything else just seems a waste of wages with FFP looming and proved last season we can loan a no1 if needed for months rather than just 1-2 games.
Hopefully those dominoes fall soon and Hendo is in for preseason friendlies.

Get Henderson signed up pronto already !!! Forget all the rest not interested (no offense wolfman) i know your just doing your thing by bring the news/rumors to our attention. Toffolo, silly boy, but thats exactly what he was at the time, just a young lad, probably/possibly didn't fully understand the rules regarding gambling & the potential consequences of getting found out, so i hope the relevant authorities aren't to harsh on him.

Henderson on loan, Navas on loan, potentially Henderson & Sa permanent, it's clear that unlike Stokes, Cooper knows the importance of getting the best guy in gloves you can, Clough had the same philosophy, and when you are winning by a single goal it makes sense.
As I see it we are only in the market for a no.1 keeper, be it Hendo or another. Logically, in our position regarding ffp, squad reduction, etc, can't see us getting another no.2. We will stick with who we have imo. Long term injuries to keepers, such as Hendo last season, are rare !
There are bigger priorities which have to take precedence with a limited budget !

I would get Jan sommer from Bayern as he's for sale by bayern for around 8mil euro. He's playing keeper that is internationally proven.
A playing keeper would push the whole team up the field leading to more offence.
I just want a keeper with some hands. Need to catch/grab the ball, not parry it away right back into the box where our keeper is now out of goal for a wide open shot. Happened way to many times with Navas last season. Get a keeper with hands. That’s all I ask.
