  1. Im a US ran from the US, but it makes me super happy to see the growth of the game in Canada! We’re all in this together in terms of growing our sport in the region ❤️

  2. That was US' D team minus Matt Turner. Robinson played himself into a reserve. No one except Nesl and Cowell have upside to perhaps make a US World Cup team in the future. That was terrible soccer by both teams except the keepers.

  3. I don’t think this game proved anything, this is the worst version of the USMNT we could muster up and the maple loving losers still couldn’t beat the KINGS. Y’all have a looooong way to go little maple leaves, y’all can say you’ve “challenged” the American when you’ve beaten us at a final at our best. So go back to the your igloos, the big boys are still cooking.

  4. The Gold Cup is actually such a joke and it was absolutely highlighted today. Prior to the game Canada had 8 suspendable players for yellow card accumulation in comparison to the United States 1. The fact that every tournament’s brackets line up perfectly for a USA vs Mexico final shows that the Gold Cup is nothing more than a glamor shot for the nation that always hosts. The favouritism was so apparent and obvious it was almost uncanny, I mean a 2 minute break before the shootout for the ref to get his money’s worth… Wheeler’s commentary said it all. Until there’s a different host every year, there will only be one country that benefits from the Gold Cup.

Having said that, I’m incredibly proud of our boys for giving the US a run for their money. They fought through adversity and were two kicks short of a historic win! The future has potential ❤ 🇨🇦

  5. I thought Canada brought the better team, but USA just wanted to win more

Edit: Canada brought more A and B team guys than the US so disregarding talent Canada brought the better team and lost

  6. It's hilarious reading all the comments about B and C and D teams. There's other factors too. Lots of experimenting is going on for instance with new players. Also, the fact that the US always gets to play all these important games at home. How come nobody mentions that? US is bad away from home.

  7. USA d team beat a canadian b team that had multiple starters. Yes USMNT host the tournaments theres nowhere else to put these big tournaments all of canadas stadiums are turf and old. Mexico is dangerous and unsafe and no one else has enough infrastructure.

  8. Let the participation awards begin, Canada always seems to normalize loosing blanketed with excuses and silly valient efforts…Once again this is getting old..Every big game same results

  9. Wow, America won again 🙄.
Let them enjoy it while they still can, when my time comes and I get into the CanMNT, things will be different. The story will change.

  10. Right off the bat… where the heck is A. Davies. J. David, C. Larin, T. Buchannon, ismael Kone, S. Eustaquio S. Adekugbe etc… ?????? They can't all be injured? I get why A. Johnston is missing.. injury.. but I still don't get why Milan Borjan is gone? What the heck is going on????🤔 This one hurt!!! 😔 That being said.. all these newer.. younger players did their thing.. and played hard.. and were truly impressive.

  11. Let’s be honest and look at the stat line. It’s like the old US-Mexico games. Close scores but drastically far apart in the game control. Canada’s got a long way to go. I’m glad they are doing better though. Good for the Region I hope they continue.

  12. Canada will never be good with this oh well attitude. You need to hold your team accountable. Losing in the quaterfinals of the gold cup should be unacceptable. Especially against a USA squad that only had their goalkeeper.
