I have always felt that frenkie is the best midfielder in barcelona… even better than pedri… Only difference is that pedri is performing and frenkie has not what everybody wanted him to… Only 2-3 (messi, fdj and mats) players can't lift a failing team…. He was expected many things but was not nurtured enough.

I hope after the world cup Xavi comes to his senses and starts playing De Jong as the starting CDM in Busquets's place. Busquets is not what he used to be and the team works better with Frenkie in that position in my opinion.
