So stupid saying it modern football, goalkeepers only need to be able to save shots, they dont need to be ball players, id rather a good shotsaver then ball kicker for a goalkeeper

Dea gea was not actually that bad with the ball at his feet. It was the wages of 375k that made the club want to move him on.
I think De Gea is a product of old United. Amazing goalkeeper and if Man Utd would have transitioned to playing out of the back after or during Sir Alex, I believe he could do it. Especially being there a decade.
United have pacey attackers and a lot of creativity in the midfield, but they need someone who can hold the ball for more than 10 seconds.

No point in being able to play a pass unless you stop the ball going in the net. Onana however could play outfield to a decent level.
