I really don't like this transfer. Although Gundogan is a quality player, but he is already too old to be signed one of the biggest clubs in the world. Maybe he can play only one year, but I don't think it is the strategy our club should follow: IMO, we should take players who can play at least 5 years at top level, i.e. not above 26-27 (maximum) years. Footballers used to sign for Barca in their primes. You can argue that in his position it is better to be more experienced, but in any case, he is already 32 years old which is too much I think (there is no perspective)

Gundogan's style of play is Xavi's. Barca have gotten a replica of Xavi. Xavi as a coach has made his own replacement before the replacement to anyone else.

Finally, the right midfield, De Jong, Pedri and Gundogan, and not this Gavi who, apart from excessive aggressiveness (bad timing and therefore dirty starts, always with a foul, extremely bad pass game, bad link up game, no dribling, to much passes back, no any vision or creativity, no through balls- final pass etc.) has absolutely nothing good and at the top level offensively… he definitely has a place on the bench!!!
Because of just one absolutely extraordinary player, Barca will be literally twice as strong, if not three times stronger, especially in attack… Gundogan is such a maestro and so versatile, that he gives Xavi and Barca 10 times more options for attack, with him danger lurks from all sides and the rows and all the lines of Barca will be incomparably more connected, because now De Jong has another absolutely world class master whose specialty is connecting the lines of the team, he is completely resistant to pressing (unlike Gavi) he constantly plays forward, dangerous is from a distance and has a phenomenal finishing pass – through ball!!! Fantastic boost!!!
