  1. It's PSG fault, serves them right, they had all the Arab money and bought all the best players and they couldn't win anything in Europe. 😂

  2. Hilarious. PSG weren't forced to sign the contract, chose to not sell him last year, and now threaten him if he basically sees out his contract. A problem all of their own making. Just shows the arrogance of their owners.

  3. From the business side of football I understand why psg don’t wanna let him go. His presence at the club help them profit in ticket/merchandise and also public marketing to land investors and other “BIG” name business person at their club.

It’s not about keeping him because they want to win trophies to the extent they want business profit etc..

  4. Clearly he is colluding with Real to make sure they get him for absolutely free..the money they save on the transfer, a huge chunk of that will go to Kylian..instead of paying 200m transfer fee and then his salary going foward for the next 7 or 8 years they just save 200m and maybe give him 150 to 170 of that over the next 4 yrs.. brilliant strategic move.

  5. Who thought it was possible for PSG to make themselves look like an even worse club than most already believed them to be

  6. Mbappe reminds me of the release of a new fifa, i have fifa 23 but fifa 24 has new shirts hmm i like new shirts im going to spend 150$ for new fifa for the shirts. Because i can. Mbappe i want this much money coz im good. I want to go to real madrid. Bro just needs to be happy hes playing footy

  7. Isn't Harry Kane I'm the exact same position?
Not Harry's even worse, Kylian actually wants to stay and fulfill his contract. The blatant preferential coverage is glaring.

  8. Those running PSG are idiots, theybcant so nothing.

If Mbappe wants to run down his contract and leave for free he can.

Also he cannot be benched as per.gos contract.

There are rumours that PSG owners threatened Mbappe and his family 2 years ago when he was set to leave for Real. Fee and personal terms were agreed but the owners reneged on the deal.

Mbappe holds all.the cards here and has probably had enough of the owners bull💩

  9. Paris fans were horrible to Messi and it backfired on them because Messi told Mbappe that he should move to a better club… so they're losing their star player now. Karma in action. If they were good to Messi maybe he wouldn't have done that.

  10. I mean this is what happens when you let these big ego players control your club. Same thing happened with Ronaldo at united. A few questions though:
    – Can real Madrid actually afford his wages? 2m a week is just plain ridiculous. I appreciate he probably brings in a lot of revenue for tickets and merch but is it really 2m a week's worth?
    – also doesn't he play in the same position as Vinicius Jr? So I'm assuming he would have to be moved on?
    – will he be as affective in the Spanish league since the French league really isn't that great in comparison. He definitely would be a passenger in the premier league as he refuses to work off the ball.

  11. I think u can always have a change of heart and as he didn't sign the extension but parade he is extending then its PSG s mess for not signing before the parade very unprofessional mess they have created lol

Thats why women sign prenups before the wedding

  12. If Mbappe somehow pulls this off as in leaves as a free agent, that will be the biggest finesse in football history.

If he stays this summer, he will be paid his loyalty bonus of around €70M on top of his salary for the next season €72M.

Then when he leaves as a free agent most likely to Real Madrid, he will have a huge signing on bonus of around €50M to €150M since they wont be spending €200M for the transfer and he came for free.

Then on TOP of that his salary at Madrid and you cant even forget agent commissions, his PARENTS are his agents. Bro if he pulls this off, that would be insane.

  13. This situation gives me mortal Kombat vibes cyrax trying to run away from th the liukwen( I don't know how they spell it 😂😂) and letter finding his friends have been turned int cyborgs 😂😂😂😂

  14. People keep saying that PSG are in the wrong and Mbappe is just doing what is stated in his contract. Yes, he's not technically in the wrong, but he's clearly using every lever in the book to make the club look bad and manufacture a desirable outcome for himself. Again, nothing technically wrong with it, but I think we should aim to maintain a sense of decorum and respect in the game. PSG have put themselves in the situation, but it's not helped by Mbappe continually contradicting what he's said and playing games with the club. He said he was "happy" at PSG and would like to see out the remaining year of his contract i.e. he wants his 70m "loyalty" bonus, a signing on bonus from Real Madrid, and wants to screw over the club by digging his heels in over a transfer, as the most expensive player on the market.

I think the rules need to change, players (and agents) have too much leverage in the final 18 months-2 years of their deals, I don't think clubs should lose some of the best players in the world for free. Now they're reducing amortisation of contracts to 5 years and clubs need to adhere to FFP. Even wealthy clubs can't afford to lose players like Mbappe for free, it would cripple the club. Now clubs have to gamble on 5-year contracts and then we will have more situations like Lukaku and De Gea on huge wages and the clubs no longer want them. Then when it gets to 2 years out, clubs will look to sell sooner to avoid these situations. The point of a contract should not be to have the owning club strong armed halfway through.

Maybe when contracts are set to expire, interested clubs in free agents submit blind bids and the club is due half the fee. If the player only wants to go to the second bidder, they have to stump up the extra cash to sign him. If the top bidder overbids to inflate the price and can't actually pay, they owe a compensation amount to the owning club. Otherwise big clubs will just start tapping up premium players earlier before their deals are set to expire.
