Arsenal are rumoured to be interested in signing the Manchester City full back, João Cancelo!
Cancelo spat his dummy out last season, falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola in the process, due to a lack of playing time. Manchester City went on to win the treble, without Cancelo, though. He wasn’t missed.

You know, never realised cancelo was such a whinger, he better get on his hand s and knees and beg us all for forgiveness. Or sell him 30 million on the cheap, get him and his wages off the books, I'd only let leporte and cancelo go abroad, and for god sake keep bernie and marhez and walker, oh get gvardiol in ASAP
10 years ago we had Viera, Clichy, Kolo, Adebayor, Nasri and Sagna … so Arsenal will need another 4 players to level up.

It was shoming wheni knew his wages 250k he is not worth even 180 ..it was pep recommendation and now coty are stick woth this wages they need to be very causious with wages not to be like zman United they got deep shi…ttt like samcho 4onaldo before and degeia and so on ..

Actually Cancelo costs us big times a few times.Most notably being turned by Mo Salah,and getting sent off in the champion' s league

I wouldn’t be happy with Laporte at one of our biggest rivals,he’s a great player who could have a point to prove and makes whoever’s left side a lot stronger including attacking as he’s got a great through ball

Agree that Cancelo is a tricky conundrum, especially as he is on a long contract (until 2027).
However his contract extension (Feb'22) did help to reduce his amortisation.
Also after 4 years his 'Book Value' has now dropped to ~£24.7m – which is less than HALF his current 'Market Value', which gives City a lot of flexibility on discounting his asking price – to offset his reputation.
But IMHO I think that City may well end up loaning him out abroad again, if they get no decent offers. But no way will Pep be doing him any favours – so he won't be going to Barca ! 😂
I'll miss Laporte, it's hard to see a way back for Cancelo, and we need to keep Walker. What bothers me about these three is the money that is the money being talked about, theses are all elite players going for half the price of an average player.
Just pondering whether there could be a role for Cancelo further up the pitch? I can't see him giving the reassurances necessary, so I'm talking out of the proverbials

Laporte was ok dont mind if he goes dont mind where he goes he was always having a bit of a cry if hes wasn't playing ,every season if there was a period he wasn't playing there was always rumours of him unhappy wanting to move on in the summer and made to many big mistakes in big games ,our defence is the best its ever been right now ake is solid and if we get Grivadiol we wont miss him at all ,right now i dont think laporte is good enough for city but he will make a good first choice at Newcastle, arsenal or juventus or where ever he goes, always felt he was the type to sulk if he didn't play so thanks for your service and good luck for the future laporte 👏👋
Keep Walker and try hard to make it happen. Do a swap deal and even a little cash with Barca to bring in FDJ for Cancelo & Silva. It pains me to say it for Silva, but a short term loss monetarily solves 3-problems: Cancelo is gone, Silva is happy bc he’s no longer in Manchester and FDJ is a solid replacement for Silva. Plus it moves Cancelo’s big wages off our books and can use that money along with Silva’s to pay FDJ wages. So we’ve effectively saved some money on wages, got rid of Cancelo, allowed Silva his move and found a replacement for Silva. Win win. Unless you think I’m missing something? (Of this all assumes FDJ would come)
Bin cancelo off great player but pep ain’t having big heads in the squad,also he must be gutted he left the European treble winners mid season
