Honestly controversial take, pickford is an improvement to degea. Degea is one of the most overrated players in the history of football. I think the british just see a well mannered sophistacated spaniard and overlook his actual ability. He has been absolutely horrendous. Consistently terrible. Should of been benched years ago. He is a howler machine.

Utd actually needed a keeper that can play out from the back, which Pickford is not. Either their scouting if shite or the keepers they were looking at are not available anymore.
