Gakpo sounds like a Ghanaian from the Volta region.
As an Arsenal fan gakpo is good but mudryk is my first choice.
Gakpo may be a good replacement for Felix in Atleti, were he to look for 1st team chances outside the Prem. Liverpool could also use a backup winger/future winger, seen as Diaz is injury prone and Carvalho is mostly being played in midfield or centrally, and Salah isn't getting any younger

As good as Mudryk looks, he seems very similar to Martinelli whereas Gakpo offers something different, can player as a striker, cheaper, and scores more. Gakpo makes more sense but I’d take either😍

I genuinely don't think we need to break the bank on him or Mudryk. Reiss Nelson is finally starting to show his potential again, and Emile Smith Rowe is going to be like a new signing when he returns (and Mudryk looks so much like ESR when he plays that I don't think he'd be much better, or better at all, than a fit and in form ESR)
Obviously the hype will be through the stratosphere, but neither would be a guarantee to produce in the PL the way they are now.
It is far more important for the club to find a player who can play as the lone 6 to learn and grow as Partey's backup. Elneny is a great squad player and has top character, but the drop off to him (and an uncomfortable Lokonga in that role) is far too great right now.
Either way, we need to keep building depth into this squad because we have far less of it than most of our top 6 rivals. No need to panic buy in January though..we cannot let our unexpected chance at winning the PL compromise the project Edu and Arteta have been building. It would be AMAZING to win the PL this season, but it's only a matter of time before City take the lead and pull away. We just need to keep spending intelligently and not become short sighted. Arsenal don't want to win the league and immediately recede to the mean – they want to be a perennial competitor. And sometimes that requires restraint from overpaying in January to absolutely crush it in the summer window
