Fans who rant and cry about this may need to look at themselfs here. Have some self reflection and a learning moment. We fans idolize players too much and project feelings and thoughts onto them that are not real and then get emotional when they don't act and behave like we want to.
People don't know them but some fans get to a point where they think they really know a player like their families do, there's a term for it: Parasocial Relationship.

Mason Mount is a traitor because he always acted like he's Mr. Chelsea and loved the club. As soon as Manu came knocking, he already packed!
