Pepe didn't seem to know when to shield the ball and when to NOT rely on flicks and tricks to get past the more physical Premiere League players. Just couldn't adapt and I doubt he ever will
@charles PEPE DESERVES ANOTHER CHANCE. He was not a bad player, it was the price tag that hurt him most, his performances on the pitch were not terrible. It's actually in Arsenal's best interest to give him another chance. If he does well but Arsenal still want to move him on they're likely to get a better fee than what they could get now with all the bad press he gets for being a flop. Also the bad influences on Aubameyang and Lacazette are no longer in the club and Pepe could get his head down and focus on grabbing his chance to get back in the team with both hands.

Fringe players aka RN and EN both need a proper run in the side. Trying to deliver during intermittent cameo roles is virtually impossible. Think back to last season when GJ was injured and in came EN. He delivered in no uncertain terms. Benefitting from a proper run in the starting 11

Reiss is clearly a talented player, but like Eddie, does he get enough minutes to develop? I see that both players love the club, but if I was in their position I would want to go somewhere with more guarantees on game time.
Nuno Tavarez one for the future or one for the transfer list? I think he has a lot of attacking potential. Defensively not the best but can that change as he is so young.
So arteta destroyed Pepe’s carrier ok because there are so many times the those called his favorite players have messed up n never played well in a game n yet kept on giving them chances ok why didn’t he gave Pepe the same treatment?
I thought Mari joined at the same time as Cedric in Jan 2020, which was before Covid break. Though we are still stuck with the ex Southampton defender on 100k pw. Amazing business model. in years to come business schools will use Arsenal as a case study on how not to run a business. I feel sorry Pepe, he had many fans at our club and under another boss, he may have been given a chance.

Hello Charles,i thought the main reason for Folarin Balogun going on loan was to get him ready and mature for the Premiership! He has acquitted himself creditably in the French Elite League. Why are we considering selling him? We dont have an out and out striker,and he fits the bill. Tall, strong, good on the ball and great finishing, yet we keep hearing about him being sold! Why?
Pepe was part of a poor Arsenal team, and he was unable to raise his game. Very few players, except the likes of Saka, were playing well 2 – 3 years ago. Arsenal is a lot better now, and they are playing well. I believe Pepe should be given another chance. No one seems interested in buying him, and his wages are high, so we might as well make use of him.
Charles, Nelson is 23, going on 24 in December. I wouldn't call him a very young player at all. Compared to a lot of our squad he is older than many of the starters. So I'm really not sure of where you're coming from with this.
What do people think we could get in this summer?? £100m total?

I dont get the pepe situation at all.he seems to blame everyone except himself. I think he's a very lazy player. Who's not willing to change. He loses the ball doesn't track back .to get in a team you asked what do I have to do to get back in the team .but he doesn't do that .very lazy it's a shame really there's a player in there .but he doesn't try .he's a kidder player. Pepe was a good finisher with plenty of pace I always wondered why Mikel never used upfront, to see if he could have a more meaningful contribution there.

Stop with the hype around Nelson. Apart from the beautiful cameos he had, he's average at best and should be moved on alongside Nketiah and injury-riddled ESR. I do not understand how easy it was to move on Joe Willock not these bunch who've had their chance already and not perform to elite levels like Bukayo and Martineĺli. There's also need to make space the likes of Nwaneri and Lewis-Kelly.

Wanted to ask, are we still signing players after we seal up Rice and Timber? Also, if Super MikArteta still continues with the 433 formation, I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of Rice playing that kinda Rodri role, with Havertz and Odegaard in front, even if Partey is in the squad.

A friend of mine works for a sports clothing company, and he has the contacts of many characters some sponsored by them, some not. And yet he is still able to talk to them. Is it the same with the clubs? I imagine Jack Wilshere having Rice's number and helping with the communication with the player. This is just an example, but really, they often talk to each other directly right? Like City would've spoken to Kovasic before anything from the move happened.

If we don't sell, we risk having the same issue as Chelsea, with a group of players that is too big. How many players should we have entering next season?
