  1. They literally already have 2 left sided centre backs in their squad and feel the need to splash 100m on another? That oil money really hit different smh

  2. GVARDIOL was the best defender in the world cup … If someone still talking about MESSI vs GVARDIOL, let me tell you something … It's Messi we're talking about, the best player ever that no one can survive, NOT EVEN PUYOL, PIQUE, RAMOS, NESTA, THIAGO SILVA, RIO FERDINAND, VIDIC, KOMPANY, BOATENG, BONUCCI, CHIELLINI, VARANE, VAN DIJK ETC … He had proven in the world cup at the young age (20), now let him cook once again with the best coach

  3. Pep is the smartest coach just take a look at the players city release over the past 2 season, the moment players starts to feel they have to play every week and forget about they role in his team he gone get rid of them, pep love to keep his players hungry in order to get the best out of them.

  4. MESSI SPUN THAT GUY AROUND IN THE WORLD CUP , THAT SHOWS HOW GOOD A 35 YEAR OLD CAN HANDLE A 21 YEAR OLD! ❤MESSI MESSI MESSI ❤❤❤❤❤

  5. Perfect signing for City. Also, if you translate Josko Gvardiol from Croatian to Spanish, you literally get a name Joseph Guardiola 😭

  6. Gvardiol is the Perfect signing for city. With Laporte leaving, he will fit in perfectly. This should be the biggest transfer window for city, with the departure of Gundogan. Winning the trebble, City have a lot to spend and Pep should go all out on the signings.

  7. As a fan of Gvardiol and Man City this news is like a dream come true for me. I have been following him since far before world cup and finally all that spotlight makes City notices him. So happy

  8. Am i alone in thinking this was the most unconvincing city side in recent years, yet somehow won the trebble!! If arsenal didn't cave in, city wd hv ended up empty handed and pep is acting accordingly.

  9. Pep has changed his way, which is expected from anyone with time. Isn’t going for fullbacks anymore, just center backs. Still has Sergio Gomez but wouldn’t be surprised if he goes out on loan.

  10. He's the ideal LCB for this setup. He's a hybrid of Laporte's ability on the ball and Ake's 1v1.
In the CL final City had an issue with the 2 wide CBs not travelling forward and committing Inter players to move out of position. The 1 time Akanji did it it led to the goal.
Ake is also injuryprone and with Walker a year older and even potentially leaving, Akanji will be needed more on the right.

  11. No it doesn't make sense. If you have Ake Akanji Dias Laporte Walker you don't need another top tier defender. I don't understand why he would join City he's never going to play unless he is the next Maldini

  12. 100 million for Gvardiol. 100 million for Declan. 100 million for Grealish. Best striker in the world. And then ppl will insist Guardiola is the best manager ever. OMG he's such a genius! All he had to work with is the best player in every position.

  13. It's going to be really funny when Newcastle inevitably become the biggest club in the EPL and all the City fans switch teams.

  14. Kevin De Bruyne is not growing any younger. City needs to prepare for his replacement. In the CL, he was substituted in both games against Bayern and Madrid. He can't be relied on to show up in the thick of the season

  15. I remember last summer Chelsea wanted to sign him but leipzg didn't want to sell him plus his price has forced blues to turn to badiashele which I think he is a good signing for the club, gavardiol is a top defender last summer Chelsea now man city .

  16. I think Liverpool is signing a 14 year old from Brazil who’ll be ready for premier league games in 2032, so Man City better watch out, we’re coming!!!

  17. Here's an ideal lineup for City 23/24:
Ederson, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, Stones, Rodri, KDB, Kovacic, Foden, Grealish, Haaland.
Pep can still stick with Ake and Alvarez as big reserves.

Fun Fact: Josko Gvardiol is really a Croatian name for Joseph Guardiola.

  18. As a utd fan it’s soo frustrating seeing city do their business soo early year after year and we do everything at the end also Liverpool do business early
