“I hope God will help us in penalty, but we also had an outstanding goalkeeper throughout this season, and I was really confident when we saw the players who show they were also very confident, so at the end I think we deserved to get this trophy.”

“It was a big pressure because I think the Bundesliga compared to the other leagues is always a bit behind, and now we wanted to show we also have a lot of passion, a lot can be possible, we beat the biggest teams, we beat Barcelona, Real Betis, West Ham and I think we showed that German teams can win something on this stage.”
