Kai Havertz was a versatile, if not prolific, attacker for Chelsea. At Arsenal, he could be the alternative elite creative force that they need. Sometimes he’s a nine, sometimes he’s a ten, but under Mikel Arteta could he be an eight?

  1. i thought he would maybe come on as a sub for the person playing the number 8 to try help arsenal win a game rather than start to be honest but that sounds good aswell.

  2. I don't doubt his workrate off the ball coz running is his biggest strength but i worry about his ball retention ability that is required to play in midfield specially for possession team like arsenal

  3. As a Chelsea fan I think he will be mustard in that attacking 8 role. I’m gutted we couldn’t find a way for him to thrive because despite what most Twitter experts think he’s an incredibly talented player.

  4. Parte, Odegaard and havertz is so offensive I dont think he will play 8, I guess more n9 or false 9

  5. As exciting as havertz in the left sided 8 is, that left side becomes incredible weak defensively with zinchenko and potentially kiwior if gabi is ever out.

  6. Are expected goals comparing the striker to the average player? Or does expected goals compare how well they’ve done compared to previous seasons
