Hi Rose, great content once again. Remember i commented on replacing Pickford? I agree with you, probably most consistent above average player in whole team. His second half of this season was vastly improved. Seemed both confidence and decision making was much better. Yes, i agree he saved at least 6-7 points in last 10 games, totally crucial. So, has change of regime improved him. I believe so. Defensively, we are much better, yes many hiccups and desperate personnel changes but an idea/strategy i think we can all see and understand. This helps players immensely. Pickford is worth 65- 85 mil full stop. As an international his record is superb, he is young (goalie) and as contracts are explained in playing terms – if he uses this contract period to progress etc, then he will be in line for the last big payday which would be his next and possibly last contract (and possible move or no). 45mil is a dig at the club, you know it and i know it. Not a great bid. 50mil as opener more respectful. So, would i sell him?. No. ‘But’. If we were offered 70 mil, i think we would have to, i would. Simply business and we desperately need to build. We need several players, or we repeat and worse this season’s facade. Obviously this all stems from mismanagement of everything. Im looking forward to see what Dyche can really do but he needs help, financially and practically. We shall see eh Rose. Heres a little fly in ointment; what if united gave us dehea and 35mil?
