Bukayo Saka’s hat-trick in England’s 7-0 win over North Macedonia marked him out as a major part of Gareth Southgate’s side. But while he’s got the ability to excel against the so-called “lesser nations” it’s how important he is against the world’s elite that matters.

  1. Id argue Saka is much more dangerous for England than he is at Arsenal. At Arsenal he’s instructed hold the width and I feel like that holds him back. He should be in the half space more

  2. Saka is the living embodiment of the Arteta approach, technique first and foremost. Everything else can be coached in by a good coach and system. When he came in at lb I immediately thought this lad is technically immaculate for that age, and his understanding of center of gravity and how to manipulate his opponent to his advantage has always been world class. And he’s 21 lol all his attributes are only going upward from here.

  3. I think theres an argument for Kane because of the creativity and threat he poses, as well as his intelligence, but at least in the attack, Kane and Saka are (for me) the most important. Also could be biased, as this is coming from a Tottenham fan.

  4. saka ,no chmp lg experience, went missin in last years fight for chmp lg place for arsenal, went missin against city in the 2 prem lg games, bottled pen against west ham. the stats show ,he doesnt do it in the big games. lets see what he does against the top teams in the chmp lg. salah is better, diaz is better, foden grealish mahrez all better wingers doin it in the chmp lg

  5. Everybody keep on about how north macedonia beat italy, anyone see the game? it was a long ball from the goalie that landed at their striker feet,it was a fluke 5 minutes before the end of time!
