The Canadian men’s national team takes on the U.S. men’s national team in the FINAL of the 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League on Sunday evening, but ahead of this titanic Concacaf clash in Las Vegas, our Andi Petrillo and Kristian Jack check in from training with all the latest camp updates, line up clues and a slate of interviews with Canadian talent.

We speak to Atiba Hutchinson ahead of his final shot at a trophy – the CanMNT’s first trophy opportunity since winning the 2000 Gold Cup – and retirement; Alistair Johnston knows what winning a trophy feels like after picking up three in 6 months at Celtic; Scott Kennedy joins us to talk about stepping up in the Canada backline; finally, birthday boy Ismael Kone talks celebrating 21 with silverware in Vegas as the 2022 World Cup brotherhood gets one final game together.

  1. Only way a team wins a championship is through Hard Work, nothing else. It never gets handed to the winner. Dreaming is not harmful unless you think it’s a walk in the park (dangerous thinking, that.)

  2. Canada is like an MLS team: 2 DPs in Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David, 2 GAMs with Cyle Larin and Jonathan Osorio. The rest are other MLS players.

  3. I don't care what the sensors in the ball are reported to have said. Atiba scored the equalizer against Morocco. The boys need to get this win.
