With Takumi Minamino reportedly set to join Liverpool in January, ESPN FC’s Steve Nicol examines how the rising Red Bull Salzburg star will fit into Jurgen Klopp’s side. Nicol plays up Minamino’s ability to play on either wing or up top and says the low transfer fee means there’s no gamble involved for the Premier League leaders.

  1. Liverpool always do good business Well most the time, (beside Andy Carrol) & a few other

    Torres 22million, got the best years 4rm him & sold 4 50million

Suarez 26million, again got his prime years , sold for 80million

    Its wot we do…

  2. We always do well in picking up players who are able to put in good performances AGAINST us. As they said, Minamino is an aggressive and fast player that pushes up the play. I really hope we get him.

  3. is a late blossoming player because racism makes all yellow players undervalued and untrusted, he is not white not black he lives with suppressions from white black majorities

  4. More magic from Klopp. We could sell the player tomorrow for five times what we paid for him. It goes to show the difference in the recrutment class of lfc and the rest…utd and city never got a sniff of his price till it was too late…or there would have been a bidding war, and the likelyhood that the fee of just over seven mill would have greately increaaed. Well done reds and mr. Edwards in particular….ynwa

  5. I'm happy for him. Always got a soft spot for Minamino since I used him very often in career mode. He seems a decent and humble lad aswell. Wish him the best.
