I'd love to hear your opinions about Michael Owen's new book and on MO in general. MO claims there is only small minority of LFC fans that still hold a grudge against him. What are your views, do his actions such as signing for Man Utd nullify his part in winning the FA cup. Some may point at him running his contract down and exiting to Real Madrid for a smaller fee than you may expect from a striker of his quality at that time but didn't Steve Mcmanaman do the same? In fact I recall LFC got nothing for SM.
I'm not a MO apologist, I personally think he believed his own hype for a long time, but you can't get away from the goals he scored whilst he was Anfield.

I've defended Hendo for years and had countless arguments about him to people who don't understand his character, drive and determination; and its good to see he is now justifiably getting vindication finally. And as for the belters who still think the likes of Pogba is better, then you just have to pity them. Gimme 1 Hendo for 10 Pogba's every single time.

Jordan henderson is a good captain but he's not a good player. His passing range is poor, doesn't score enough, doesnt create enough and he's poor positionally. He works his socks off which is admirable but the level liverpool are at now they need someone better in that position

last season when Fab came, i thought he won't replace Hendo's place cos Hendo has better positional and pressing awareness than Fab, but after Fab learned positional awareness, DM position became his. the reasons for this is Fab is a better regista than Hendo and Hendo natural play and thought isn't suitable for DM position, as he became DM just because nobody good at there at that time, even Can is worse than Hendo as DM in Rodger's system.
why i think Hendo is better player is he has a skill set that every club in the world needed, positional awareness and pressing ability plus ranged pass for switch play and crossing.

Henderson is a victim of his versatility, LFC managers not knowing his best position, and the weight of assuming the departing Gerrard's mantle. Peak Henderson is the likes of the 2-0 Chelsea game or the 3-1 Saints game, both last season. Below this and the likes of him and Gini can be swapped out of midfield without controversy. What would help his cause is if he scored more goals and shot more accurately and frequently. In saying that, still an effective player, we just need his peak more often.
Absolutely spot.. I have been defending Henderson since 2013/14 season and felt like I was the only one who thought Henderson was the perfect player for Liverpool at that time.. but now I feel everybody is admitting it
