The ESPN FC crew discusses whether Paris Saint-Germain is the right club for U.S. Soccer men’s national team player Tim Weah, son of former great George Weah, or whether he’s doomed to follow the path of former wunderkinds such as Julian Green and Freddy Adu, rather than Borussia Dortmund young star Christian Pulisic.

  1. It depends if Tuchel gives him minutes, but it will be difficult with Neymar, Cavani, Mbappé, Draxler and Di María. PSG should loan him to a french smaller club where he would play and fight to be in the 11.

  2. He should of went to the Eredevise or Bundesliga they seem to be much better leagues training young talent. He won’t play at PSG he’s just wasting time. I hope to be proved wrong though.

  3. MLS is the a shit league no promotion or relegation I could be playing there just make it look like I’m giving an effort and collect my paycheck I fucking hate MLS

  4. Tim Weah should leave the team. PSG is way to stack for a young player like him to grow and get minutes. He should go to the premier league or a german league. It would be nice if he was on the bench for Tottenham hotspurs or Liverpool. Because both of those coaches give the bench time to shine.

  5. Cavani is now linked with moves away from PSG weah will def get playing time he’s the only other striker of note outside of mbappe

  6. Does anyone here know that Liberia was founded by the slaves that decided to "go back to Africa" after the Civil war? His ancestors were probably building the country centuries before they let a lot of "Americans" through Ellis Island

  7. Look at this hypocritical English commentator saying we put a lot of pressure on young players in the US every have these in English player has been hyped to death Theo Walcott freaking dele Alli I've been hyped to death and there's something or some of them are not even that good

  8. He might get minutes at PSG, he can play as CF or as Winger. He just scored his first goal yesterday, and would have gotten 1 or 2 more if it wasn't for Di Maria not wanting to pass the ball.

  9. People, if it weren't PSG, no serious club would have taken him. They welcomed him there and formed him because of his father, like the Zidane sons in Real. I'm not quite sure any club is interested in him nowadays. Of course, he'll stay in PSG even he is bad because his father is President of Liberia. So if there is no offer for him any day from a serious club, say thx to PSG to keep him.
