    Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior was not in the matchday squad for his side’s match against Rayo Vallecano following the racist chants that he faced against Valencia earlier in the week. The entire Real Madrid squad stood in solidarity on the pitch wearing the Brazilian’s name and number in solidarity against racism.

      Crowds chanting racist slurs shiuld be punished the same way as crowds invading the pitch or fans throwing objects onto the players on the field. The home team of such fans should take accountability as well as identifying such people doing this and handing out bans on stadiums. La liga is too passive with racism speaks a lot about how their society views race
