Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior was not in the matchday squad for his side’s match against Rayo Vallecano following the racist chants that he faced against Valencia earlier in the week. The entire Real Madrid squad stood in solidarity on the pitch wearing the Brazilian’s name and number in solidarity against racism.

  1. If there are people who should be racists, it is us – the once colonized. Spain's race are those of colonizers who are evil! U being racist like this, boils my blood. Hypocrite Spanish-racist people. Karma on u. 😑😑

  2. Aur Allah jise chahe izzat deta hai aur jise chahe zillat. Vini jr and whole Real Madrid squad have my respect ❤.say no to racism. Love from India

  3. Crowds chanting racist slurs shiuld be punished the same way as crowds invading the pitch or fans throwing objects onto the players on the field. The home team of such fans should take accountability as well as identifying such people doing this and handing out bans on stadiums. La liga is too passive with racism speaks a lot about how their society views race

  4. Don't fall for this. No one said anything last week, or last month, or last year! I am100 percent sure that at least one member on this team is just pretending.

  5. How can this stop when the fifa himself is one??what decision has made so far??valecia stadium must be closed for 5 matches as a punishment to serve a lesson to the rest of the funs

  6. I find all this very hypocritical. We Brazilians have been called monkeys for a long time. All of Europe call Brazilians monkeys, including Argentineans too. In the middle of the 21st century, after so many wars and conflicts, humanity has not yet understood that there is only one race, the human race. Of course, I won't generalize. There are still a lot of good people in the world, but a lot of ignorance too. I'm going to tell you about a football match, in 1963, at the Argentine stadium La Bombonera. Santos Futebol Clube, yes with Pelé, went to play with Boca. As soon as they stepped on the lawn, they were greeted with a deplorable song: "Los macaquitos de Brasil". This made Pele furious. The King did the following: he won the match, silenced the crowd and returned to my dear Brazil, (by the way, multiethnic). And on top of that they call us the Third World. Where is the "First World"? I confess I don't know…
