Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing Burnley forward Wout Weghorst on loan. Weghorst is currently on loan at Besiktas, and any deal may be complicated as it would require both clubs to agree to cut short the Dutchman’s loan.

  1. Wout would give United another option from the bench, a bit like Fellaini. Wout more than just being the Dutch Peter Crouch , however I think that United should go for someone more long-term and suited to Ten Hag ball.

  2. Guys laughed when we signed Eriksen, they laughed when we signed Martinez and they went hysterical when Eth brought in Casemiro….they ain’t laughing now

  3. He is a good poacher. It is Manchester United, he will go if Ten Hag seriously wants him

We are up against Burnley and Besiktas. I don't see them rejecting the player wish

  4. Dutch striker with Dutch manager could be amazing. And it seems United are more smart on recruitment with Ten Haag now. Really exciting

  5. what’s the point in giving Athletico millions for a loan deal when he will need time to adapt to England.

Weghorst has some premier league pedigree, played for Burnley which is north west of England (next door to Manchester essentially, he can settle in much, much faster.

This really is a low risk option and a very shrewd deal by Ten Hag if it happens.

Of course felix is a wonderful player, I just doubt he has the physicality needed to dominate in premier league.

I feel like felix would be better off being signed before season starts, so he can have a pre season with the club.

January signings are usually intended to be instant impacts. Weghorst is better suited right now rather than Felix, in my humble opinion of course!!
