The Athletic had a great video yesterday that showed how similar Hojbjerg and Skipp are. They're both great, but they're also both very conservative with their passing. We need a Kessie to be more creative and distribute the ball. That will compliment Ollie and Hojbjergs' style.

I’ve seen good games of kessie but also bad… let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Plus in my humble opinion kessie offer very similar to Skipp. We need a natural creator who can score for a more dynamic squad.
We'll happily welcome him in Amsterdam ❌❌❌ just like Haller who was disastrous at West Ham United FC and lived up here at Ajax i am confident Bergwijn will do just that.
I reckon comments about him as a 'useless' player are pretty short sighted and in all fairness you should consider how a player is used.
Look at Frenkie at Barca… a player with such potential and he looked like an amateur, until, he was placed on a position where he was comfortable and given the freedom to play in his strength.
Bergwijn at Tottenham says a lot more about the connection between the playstyle of the club and his strength and how he likes to play.
He is familiar with our competition and the Ajax philosophy and i believe he can live up to his immense potential when he's been used the right way and when he himself regains trust in in his abilities. 🤙🏼
