People seem to forget how bad Sterling was in the Champions League final against Chelsea – from the whistle at the start, he was in the pocket of Reece James. Sterling was so useless.
In the match against Arsenal, Sterling was just a bystander when Odegaard scored the brace, total inaction and didn’t have any slightest intention, by his body language, to tackle Odegaard when Sterling was close to Odegaard. As a City fan, I was so happy at the moment I heard City sold him

I have no love for sterling the way he left Liverpool but to single him out shows lack of knowledge.
Chelsea have been shocking if he was still poor in 18 months from now fair enough but to judge 1 player out of 30 players is ridiculous.

He was never a good player. David Silva gave him 40 tap ins in a season and he missed 20 of them. As soon as Silva retired his career nosedived. Wilf Zaha would score 35 plus goals a season at City. Sterling is a bang average player playing in a rubbish team. Last season was his level.

Chelsea can make any player- or manager- look poor. Mendy was an international goalkeeper before he went to sell-the-best-players-sea.
Simple. At city he’d get daft amount of chances even for a winger so his numbers were pumped up. At Chelsea they’re Shite and create little to no chances.
Depending on whom Poch brings in, Chelsea won't finish in the top 4 like Jordan thinks…on this years form, the bottom 4.

He is absolute trash. And I said this when we signed him. I just knew we were gonna have a bad season when our first signing was him for £50M. Complete idiocy from Tuchel and Boehly. People saying "the whole team was bad", but he was playing at his actual level unlike (most) all the others.
Chelsea and Arsenal fans ignored what City fans said about Sterling, Jesus and Zinchenko. We said Sterling misses loads of chances and is only good for 2 months in a season, when he’s got great players around him. We said Jesus will never score 20 goals in a season and isn’t a natural goalscorer and we said Zinchenko looks good going forward but will let you down in big moments defending.

Rory Jennings is an absolute embarrassment every time he opens his mouth! The entire team has been in absolute disarray since Tuchel left and they've had absolute chaos to deal with thanks to Todd's horrendous decision making! The players need focused leadership and they have had the total opposite for most of the season, ergo, they cannot perform!

Sterling is currently the worst offender of a Chelsea habit that I do not notice with other teams but which Chelsea have had a succession of players perform. The 'slow stroll back up the pitch' into an onside position when WE have the ball forcing us to try and hold it up in midfield as we can't play it forward until he has finished his slow stroll. Invariably this leads to the slow horizontal passing across the midfield instead of forwards, losing possession as it becomes predictable what we are having to do, and leaving our defence vulnerable again. And he ONLY does this when in a central position making an attack all but impossible! When he is in a wide position he runs back but if he comes into the middle it's a slow wander!
I don't see other teams doing this game in and game out. They have an urgency to get onside. But we ALWAYS have at least one person who does this throughout the game and 'CURRENTLY' Sterling is the worst offender as he starts his 'strolling back onside' as early as the fifth minute in some matches.
Tammy Abraham was also terrible at this as was Lukaku, but like I say, I don't see it happening regularly in our opponents.
