I think he would fit tbh , he is very defensive minded , technically gifted and has a mean long shot which we are lacking atm. As long as they can find a way for him to get those shots he is a gem
My first thoughts is Ruben neves is the type of player to sign if you want to bottle the ucl. But as a barca fan i have hope he proves me wrong.

Xavi signing players just to seat them on the bench & next season probably loan him somewhere or sell him, just like he's going to do with Ferran, Kessie & Torre. Just wasted €55M for Ferran after becoming manager last season. Whoever he signs on that position he'll only play Frienkie for most of the season there & only Zubimendi will be able to replace Frienkie & any other players will have to ride the bench.
Not that keen on him but at the same time we also need to show all Barca players support . Neglecting them won’t make them better players for the club and I hope xavi can use him in a way that benefits the team

Let's just hope that such signings won't become Barca's demise during the season. I'm afraid this signing might be the first of many, given Barca's history in that aspect. If we play it right ,barca will be destined for greatness.
I think it would be cool if there was like a swap deal like mentioned in the video but where they give Barca 30 million plus Ruben neves for ansu fati and barca can get abde back from loan and see how he plays there I think that would be a decent financial option.
Let's hope what I think of him is a mistake, and he manages to raise expectations, and doesn't disappoint in this team. Visca El Barca.

I personally think Rueben is not the kind of player we need…we need players who can make a difference in our squad adding to the depth esp when Pedri or De Jong is not there…we really need a Guadigan or Benardo Silva in our squad. We have been making a lot of signings in the past who are not difference makers and that's how we have been struggling in the long run…if we can get Cancelo as well, Kimmich and Messi then we are ready atleast…

What the f&ck? Why? Why God why? Why this signing man😩😩? This is bad, BAD, BAD signing. Trust me on that. This will so not work out. It's so bad. We cannot do signings like these in financial clutch sitn. Zubi/Amra were the only good options. I hope that Barca shies away from this deal & instead brings in Zubi/Amra.

If we sign Neves then I feel we should sign Amrabat as well. Those 2 are different profiles and we might need both next season.
Barca is in the right direction. But if they are going to get Messi, being stingy is not the way to go. Barca wants to correct its infraction they did on Messi, they should pay for it. And stop using media to paint Messi in a bad light. Barca should be a straight shooter. If they can’t afford to hire Messi, then say it directly.
I do read news on some media outlets but I don't take it serious. I'm waiting and always waiting to hear from one voice and that's this voice of a legend who got us covered.
