The match was temporarily halted for nearly 10 minutes in the second half at Mestalla when Vinicius pointed out the individual responsible among the Valencia supporters behind the goal. Referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea implemented Spanish football’s anti-rac1sm protocol, cautioning the fans that any further racist remarks would lead to the suspension of the game.
