  1. Happy for Villa, but it's actually mad how arrogant some of the fans have become already. Just humble yourselves a bit.

  2. Give Unai Emery a team in quality of Man U or Newcastle this season and he probably could challenge for the title, he’s done an amazing job, from being 17th just over 7 or so months ago to being conference league qualifiers, managerial masterclass

  3. I want to speak for everyone when I say stop showing 30 seconds of everyone standing around or looking at lines when there is a VAR review for a goal. I came here to see highlights!

Just show the goal, show a brief clip that explains it had to be checked, and then show replays of the goal. In this video you swapped out replays of a great goal with showing us VAR lines – no one cares! Show us the goals!

  4. This qualifying for europe after ___ years thing is hilarious. Its a competition 2/3 years old made for teams who cant get into Europe in the first place.

  5. To think 6 years ago they were playing against each other in the championship and now they're both in europe next season

  6. People need to remember that in Unai's 1st season with arsenal he missed out on UCL because of aubameyang missing a penalty vs Spurs and he wanted Zaha instead of Pepe πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  7. What a terrific season Villa had in the end. I think they were in the relegation zone, or not much above, after the first ten games or so. And now in Europe. Next season, if they get the kind of start to the season which they didn't get this season, and in line with their end season form, they could be challenging for the Premier League title.

  8. Great season for both of these clubs, start of the season I had them 11th and 12th tbh. Brightons performances across the season have been so good to watch, at times not quite getting what they deserve, actually think they've played better football than Man Utd and Liverpool IMO. Emery has made Villa an absolute force, as an Arsenal fan I am in the minority it seems who liked him. His only full season he got us back to challenging for UCL spots and made a European final, then had a great start the next season before issues with Xhaka and Ozil reared up and everything fell apart after that. Hope it stays stable for him at Villa, if players continue to listen to him and buy into his management you'll be back in the O'Neill days of consistently pushing the big clubs.

  9. Reply to this comment if you think Gerrard being replaced with Emery is the best managerial replacement Aston Villa done!

  10. There were articles saying Mudryk had 'the worst miss of the season'. That from Jacob Ramsey is ABYSMAL. One of the top 3 misses of the season.

  11. Well done Villa from a fellow claret and blue supporter. We’ve had some great nights in the conference league this season, who could say boo to an away day in Cyprus?! Hope you have a fantastic run too, also well done for finishing above Spurs πŸ˜‰

  12. Whatever about qualifying for Europe, Villa are, for the first time in 30 odd years, watchable!
That midfield is the key to it all.
Think of the years spent with pedestrian players in the middle of the park for Villa- McCann, sanchez, jedinak, makoun, ireland. The list goes on.
    How did we stick it???

  13. Newcastle, Brighton, Villa and possibly West Ham in Europe
All three promoted teams staying up
And some different teams coming up from the championship
It’s just nice to have a change
