✍️ SIGNED! Congrats to our Kevin Rodriguez from our SF Glens Academy who will be headed to his dream school, the University of California, Berkeley as a first-generation college student!
It’s been a whirlwind 2021-22. Kevin signed up midseason to play for Coach Antonio Medina where he earned MLS NEXT Cup U19 MVP honors as the Glens advanced all the way to the national championship final. He would later be named to the inaugural MLS NEXT All-Star Game in Minnesota. This past season, he’s continued his development on the U19s with Coach Robbie Rix. The pride of the Mission District, Kevin is now the 41st SF Glen from our Pathway Pyramid since 2019 to move on to play at the collegiate level. Many of those players like Kevin were part of our Scholarship Fund which gave out $200,000 in financial aid to families in 2022 partially thanks to private donations and grants like the one from the Olympic Club Foundation.
