Southgate will be without Ivan Toney, after the Brentford forward was banned from football for eight months by the FA earlier this month.

Why have 3 holding midfielders in the squad with Rice, Phillips (who never plays) and Henderson? Only need 1 playing and 1 back up. I like Henderson but heโs 33 next month. Biased but think MGW alongside Rice and Bellingham would be crazy good against small nations. And Gallagher?
