Manchester United are trying to hijack the Tyrell Malacia deal, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed. Voetbal Internacional’s Feyenoord reporter Martijn Krabbendam has gone one step further, saying United have already agreed a deal with Feyenoord directly and it’s now up to Malacia. After a full verbal agreement with Lyon, Man United jumped in and are now aggressively trying to sign the 22-year-old defender.

Sounds like a good signing, young, full international, reasonable price- the kind of signing we should be making.

Looks like goodbye to Telles. Overall Shaw's time at United has been disappointing, sprinkled with 2 excellent seasons. I think it is inevitable that Shaw will be phased out perhaps next year.

I’m guessing ETH has a formation he wants to play in mind. And the two positions that will do most of the running, (or the main engine of his formation) will be his RBs/LBs. Hence I think that’s why he wanted Malacia. Attacking players we are fine. Midfield now enough with the inclusion of FDJ. Come October when we have a boat load of games, we will have enough players to keep ETG formation going. I guess ETH, at least for this season, wants to keep shape, structure and form.
ETH quoted “This squad the previous season was second in the league..”. And they got second with most of the existing players. Hence the idea is to only improve certain departments, bolster only some key positions, while the 3rd-4th subs in every other positions will be from the academy. The players I think are actually alright. They just need clarity in mind and proper coaching!

You want telles to leave? thats the problem with this club, people like you run this club. dont know anything about football and still talking. Telles is one of very few players we have who fights for the club! Shaw have been at utd for 8 years and he is SHIT.
Hungry young and "cheap" players is what we need so ETH can build a team without players that think they've made it and bigger than the club. This I like, alot.

Alex Telles must stay and be moved from LB to CDM. I really think he could be very good in that midfield role. EtH must surely try it out if we cannot sign a real CDM for this coming season. I think Telles can do a good job there.
