  1. We shd hv two ball progressers that can quickly turn on our attacks swiftly. Two proper passers ; Orkun Kocku and De Jong should be in that midfield next season.

  2. Changing shape would be ideal. I would want to see Pedri get closer to goal and be a CAM/shadow striker. I can see Pedri complementing the attack including Lewa. DeJong and Eric Garcia would benefit this as well as Eric can be that 3rd CB pushed up like how John Stones is used as a 4th cb. Amrabat would be great there as well. Question would be is where other midfielders go like Gavi. Kessie would be fine in a double pivot as well.

  3. There has to be a change in shape. I've said it many times. Yes, DeJong can defend if he wants to be it's clear that he wants to be in the attack and in the zone.

  4. Its great that Frenkie stayed.. replacing a player of his quality and consistency would've been very difficult even with the big fee

  5. You said it yourself the system crashes if we don't have a player who fits the role. The last thing we need to do is crash the system and lose the identity that makes us Barça.

Worst case scenario is that we play Gündogan or Eric there, depending on if Gündo signs or not. Frenkie stays close to him and has the license to move up the pitch, while Pedri or Gavi are more advanced on the right side of the 3 man midfield (because of a defensive RB)

  6. With Nico coming back next season , for me there is no need to go and buy someone else in midfield. He and Frenkie can play as the double pivot and Gavi and Pedri a little more advanced. If there are injuries we still would have Kessie and Pablo Torre on the bench . We should focus more on getting a solid right back than try to replace Busquets.

  7. Lol so if FDJ stays and Messi comes back, Dembele and Messi have to occupy the same space?
Even worse Gavi and Messi have to occupy the same space?

The writing is on the wall why shift everything around to suit FDJ, it makes no sense especially considering his wages the club absolutely has to sell him!!!

  8. Now we have a problem. According to Sport and Mundo Deportivo, the rumors about Kimmich are fake, there's no chance to sign Zubimendi, Gundogan is apparently gonna re-sign with Manchester City and Amrabat isn't a priority. Neves will sign because Laporta has an agreement with Jorge Mendes, Eric García stays as a backup plan, Messi might not sign (and shouldn't, according to Marçal Lorente), Bernardo Silva is going to PSG, Chelsea won't let Auba go for free, Ansu doesn't want to leave and neither do Raphinha, Kessié and Ferrán Torres…so basically we're gonna have the same squad minus Busquets and maybe Alba, the only signings may be Neves and Iñigo Martínez and even if La Liga approved our viability plan we still won't be able to apply the 1×1 rule because of the registrations and renewals will put us again over budget if we don't sell players, which we can't. I suppose only the players on loan will be sold, including Nico and Abde,, but for very little money and in some cases no money. Again, according to some informations from the Catalan media in the past few days.

  9. I've always thought for the last couple of seasons why don't we try a 1 and a half pivot instead of just one or a double and use de Jong as a half pivot cause that would still give him what he needs but will also help whoever goes into that roll after busquets
