  1. Gab’s Totti example is not comparable. Totti was 24 when Roma won their league title. So when he decided to stay he already had it in the bag. Kane turns 30 this year and has No major title.

  2. Given the opportunity to play for my boyhood club, regardless of trophies, I would have stuck around and lived the dream …. Kane's a throwback, and breaks the mould of today's spoiled generation … COYS!

  3. He won a Champions League and an FA Cup, but Gerrard stayed at Liverpool when he could have gone to better teams and win league titles.

  4. I believe he has stayed because he want to win something with Tottenham. Because if he do he will be a bigger legend. But he need to know when to stop make it this club hold him back

  5. What's funny about Gabs argument and using Shearer as an example, is that Shearer himself said Kane needs to leave and if it was him, he would lol. Also, Kane himself wanted the move to Mancity and also said he wanted to win something, so Gabs argument makes even less sense.

  6. It's a lot easier to make the decision to turn down a trophy capable club when you've already tasted success. You know when you're 60 you won't have regrets not winning something. Had Shearer not won the league with Blackburn and went to Newcastle who's to say he wouldn't have eventually left them to seek a trophy elsewhere. He was never faced with reality of regret, same to a certain extent with Gerrard who won cup titles and he was very tempted to join Chelsea by his own admission. The only comparison is with Matt LeTissier who said he enjoyed being a big fish in a small pond and personal happiness was more important than trophies. That doesn't sound like Harry Kane though so he'll have to leave. You can see it in his face when the question is brought up, he clearly is facing the reality and legacy of being the world's best player to never win a trophy.

  7. Well it's finny gab marcotti brings up m city who were linked with kane a few years ago but it never happened did it obviously it would of been harder for them to sign kane at the time than it was for them to sign haaland and cheaper aswell so its a good thing for them that they got haaland instead because he is younger but thats probably a good reason why he will not sign for one of the other big epl clubs right now either and will probably stay a spurs player now really imo but the Shearer comparison was not really relevant either because shearer won one premier league title and then moved to his boyhood club its completely different situation to kane really 🤣

  8. If Kane still wants to be in Tottenham, than he don't deserved to win any trophies because he dare not face the challenges of a new club but prefers to stay in his comfort zone. No sympathy for him if he remains because it's his choice .

  9. Harry can't go anywhere. No one will pay for him. At the end of the day he's a Spurs player, which means he's never won anything and he probably never will. Nobody wants that.

  10. Kane may be that rarity these days…a one club man.
Clearly he loves Spurs, loves living with his family in London and as Gab says, the chance to win something at Spurs no matter how remote may mean more to him than anything else.
Nicol and Burley appear unable to grasp that some people have values other than just winning things. That says more about them than it does Kane.

  11. I wouldn't blame him for moving spurs are a disaster I've been supporting them for 40 years and I will till the day I die but we are not going to win anything anytime soon 😢

  12. I get Gab’s point. There are players who dream to win their childhood team a trophy. But I get the boys point too. Too comfortable after so many years and really not testing or improving yourself.

  13. I respect his right to MAKE any decision he wants, but if he stays , I don't respect the decision he CHOSE – it would tel me that he is a skilful footballer , but NOT a professional footballer

  14. Can’t wait for all the pundits (especially those on espn) takes if/when Kane leaves. Let me guess something along the lines of – “Kane takes the easy option to a title and shows a lack of loyalty blah blah blah”. He’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
