Firstly, the day that footballers can no longer defend a loose uncontrolled midair ball with a high foot because the momentum of the player attacking was unfortunately too slow to win the ball but, and unfortunately too fast to avoid the high foot of a defender that had eyes on the ball at all times. However, had Mings not made contact with the ball first, red card all day long.
Oh, one last rant… Mags and united fans, don’t thank Villa for todays result. Your positions come the end of the season are well deserved and earned, as will Villas position this year, no matter if we make to 7th place or not. Stay humble, don’t be like the arrogant Wolves fan I met at 2am outside a nightclub that couldn’t hear me complimenting his team’s achievements, or me agreeing with him on occasion about his team’s players, tactics and management at the peak of Wolves time so far in the Premier League.
