  1. Man utd fan here, feel sorry for arsenal they've played some great football this season. the PM is becoming more bent every year that goes by becoming more like seria A and the primira league juventus are under investigation again and barca I've suspected for years, even in the last year how are they getting away with what they are is criminal. the big 3 utd, liverpool and arsenal trying to compete with city who are obvs cooking the books and under investigation constantly is a disgrace

  2. Arsenal fan here, you have no idea how happy I am to have Arteta at the club. What he's done in such a short amount of time to close the gap and make us genuinely feared again amongst the top teams has been fantastic. We have now reached the point where 2nd is a failure, and that is down to Arteta and the work he's done with the players.

Did we make mistakes this season? Absolutely, I'm extremely upset we haven't gone on to lift the trophy but the only way we'll find out whether these players have learnt from them is by waiting for the next season to come along. We did it this season by reclaiming top four, and now next season the goal has to be the Premier League title. The only way to heal this pain is to win the league, and I'm sure Arteta and the players will carry that into next season.

Congatulations to Manchester City and whilst I'm sure the likes of Liverpool will be back fighting again next season, if we carry on our trajectory – we'll be champions sometime soon. The only sad part about that is we now won't know that until 12 months from now and the narrative will be that we've bottled it.

The only thing we can do is take this pain into next season, just like Liverpool did a couple of years ago. COYG.

  3. To fall short about 8 games out is not a title challenge, they finished 2nd in a season when the usual suspects were having terrible seasons,be lucky for top 4 next year

  4. Start of the season I wasn’t sure we’d even finish top 4/6 so we exceeded my expectations BUT we also bottled and 8 point lead (albeit unexpected). Overall I’m still proud of my Arsenal ❤️

  5. We had it in our hands. These past few weeks performing below par. The Southampton, West-ham results all poor. Back in the champions league and 2nd place is not bad. Proud of the lads.
