    The Hatters booked their place at Wembley for the Sky Bet Championship play-off final on Saturday week by overturning a one-goal deficit against Sunderland at a cauldron-like Kenilworth Road.

    Central defenders Gabe Osho and Tom Lockyer got the first-half goals as Rob Edwards’ side came through 3-2 on aggregate in front of a passionate, proud crowd under the Kenny lights.

      It's unfortunate that a team like Luton emerged as winners! It doesn't do football any good to see Luton win! Hopefully, Luton will suffer some massive defeats ìf they make it to the Premier League! Which is only to be expected!

      Congrats to Luton, you were the better team on the night. However we should’ve had a penalty as I didn’t know you were allowed 2 goalkeepers on the pitch, morris should’ve had a straight red for stepping on Neil’s ankle and why did onien get booked when adebayo pulled his shirt? That’s supposed to be a premier league ref. Hopefully we’ll challenge for the play offs spots again next season. From a Sunderland fan

      Sunderland are a young team and it's a work in progress,we haven't the team or the money to stay up I've been saying it for months
      What makes me laugh about this is your not there yet so boro will be a pushover,i doubt it

      I thought we failed to turn up. Every game ive seen us lose isnt because the other team have been good its because Sunderland didnt turn up. Dont get me wrong we were so bad we should have been smashed in the end. But thats our fault. Not how good Luton played. Ive never seen anything like it. Pushing and tugging at players when they at the sideline picking up the ball. Awful behaviour. I can see why you have a small pitch. You were able to get your game going. On a big pitch your not as effective. You wont win the final. Unless you kick the other team to death and get more scrambled ricochet lucky bounces
      Lets be honest you were aggresive, direct and annoyed the hell out of me. Im not fussed we got beat we definitely didnt deserve a result by the way we played. However unlike other fans wishing you well ill be watching the final with interest.

      You were very fortunate that we had 173 players missing. It works on a postage stamp against a set of toddlers but you’ll probably get caught out at Wembley and should you get promoted, just trouser the money.
