Really, we'd be better off bringing mick McCarthy back for this group. Route 1 football is the only chance against this calibre of opponent
Countries don't get to agree game dates. UEFA do it to suit TV schedules, who basically pay for the whole thing.
Time for OTB to start saying Kenny needs the next 2 world cup qualifiers and following 2 euros as he needs till 2038 to show how good a coach he is

Kenny is a total disaster, I'd get rid of him before we lose to Greece and Gibraltar, he was talking about Portugal, Serbia, Belgium, Scotland this morning, he forgot we lost to all of them when it mattered to us, he has one good win since he took over, Scotland in June.. I've heard the excuse given him time, you know Gibraltar could do an Armenia to us, a loss to Greece or Gibraltar now here and it should be thank Stephen and bye bye…

Kerr makes very astute points about top team players and their schedules over the season. Ideally you want to play a top team at a critical stage in champions league or Premier/top tier seasons where their allegiances are truly tested.
Ireland usually cause an upset against top teams. As a scot I recall Ireland beating Germany away in our group leading up to euro 2016 and beating Italy at the tournament haha.
