In theory, cashing in on Kane, if he intends to leave next year anyway, may sound good. But the fact is Levy won't reinvest the money we'd get wisely. So we're buggered there. Therefore, I'd rather keep Kane even if he intends to leave on the free next year.

Spurs aren't short of goals this season, they conceded far, far too many. Yes, the 'creative midfielder' is the icing on the cake offensively, but the top priority is making the defence less leaky, more solid and capable of clean sheets against top 8 opposition.

It’s important to remember what is likely going to happen not what people want. Almost certainly Kane will run down his contract because that requires no party to take action.
